Dive Zone Whitianga Dive Trips
Keen to get underwater and dive with a group of other keen divers? Not sure where to go or don't have a boat? We run daily group diving trips to the great dive spots right on our door step including Mercury Islands, Aldermen Islands, Cathedral Cove and its Marine Reserve or fantastic diving along the eastern Coromandel coastline. We have too many to list and the beauty of our area is with its many coves and offshore islands - even when the weather is sketchy we can usually find somewhere to tuck in and get some beautiful diving in. Local Trips
We meet at Dive Zone Whitianga at 8:30am to complete the necessary pre-dive registration & to arrange any rental gear requirements that you may have.
IMPORTANT:
Bookings are essential for all trips, & a deposit of $100 per person is required to secure bookings during our peak summer season.
Please note that deposits are only refundable if the trip is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Email the shop for info on any of our local trips: info@divethecoromandel.co.nz
If you are using your own gear it is subject to our safety checks. We reserve the right to refuse use of any equipment that does not meet our inspection standards in the interest of your safety.
International Diving
Niue - The Rock of the Pacific - Staying at the Matavai Resort and diving with neighboring Niue Blue. This unique island is sure to thrill both under water and on land. Our visits to this island have always offered up highly scenic, unique experiences, delivered in its very laid back and relaxing way. The water here is renowned for its crystal clarity and amazing underwater structure. July may be early but there is a pretty good chance that the Humpback whales will join us in the ocean. Our dates are 13 to 21 July 2024. Costs still being confirmed.

Truk Lagoon, Micronesia - We have been waiting to get our group away to Truk Lagoon since 2020. One of those Covid postponed trips many of us have been unable to complete. But we are looking now to head up on a modified journey in May 2024. The trip is fully booked but if you are interested, it could be worth letting Linda know in case of cancelations.
